Lawn mowing. Neat, crisp and consistent every time.
Front yards, backyards and verges, mown to the right height with the edges trimmed, so the whole place looks sharp from the street.

What is lawn mowing?
Lawn mowing is more than running a mower over the grass. Cutting at the right height for your type of lawn keeps it thick and green, crowds out weeds and helps it handle the heat. Cut too low and the lawn scalps and browns off. Leave it too long and it gets patchy and hard to bring back.
Around Mandurah and the Peel, most lawns are couch, buffalo or kikuyu growing in sandy soil. They grow fast in the warmer months and slow right down in winter, so how often they need mowing changes through the year.
A proper mow finishes with the edges. Trimmed borders along paths, driveways and garden beds are what make a yard look sharp from the street.
How lawn mowing is done
From the first look at your yard to leaving the place tidy, step by step.
- 1
Check the yard
A quick walk around to spot toys, hoses, sprinkler heads and anything else that should not meet a mower.
- 2
Mow at the right height
The height is set to suit your lawn type and the season, then front, back and verge are mown.
- 3
Edge and trim
Edges along paths, driveways and garden beds are trimmed, along with the spots a mower cannot reach.
- 4
Clean up
Clippings are cleared off paths, patios and driveways so the place is left tidy.

The benefits of lawn mowing
- A thicker, greener lawn
Regular mowing at the right height encourages the grass to spread and thicken.
- Fewer weeds
A dense lawn leaves less room for weeds to take hold.
- Your weekends back
No dragging out the mower, no trips to the tip with clippings.
How often should my lawn be mown?
In the warmer months most Peel lawns grow quickly and look best mown every one to two weeks. Through winter, growth slows and every three to four weeks is often enough.
Do you mow the verge too?
Yes. Front, back and verge can all be included.
Can I book just one mow?
Yes. One-off mows and tidy ups are fine, as well as regular visits.
